Great experience, beginning with phone contact with Hannah. In wheelchair with one leg braced out in the front. Smooth transfer both ways on lift, locked me in tight. TARAN was awesome! IN Care Trans took good care of us during the Best Buddies Leadership Conference for 2026 July 17-20. I was very pleased with my experience with them. I felt safe in the vehicles and with the drivers. I even recommended the other wheelchair users to use the IN care vehicles as opposed to the other buses (not run by IN care at this event) during the weekend because of how safe I felt and because of how my experiences had been. I especially had a wonderful experience with Nick. He made sure I understood what to tell the other drivers about the loop straps since my wheelchair doesn’t have the special tie down parts. He also made sure other people were safe. There was a situation with a power chair user on one of the other buses (not run by IN care) that had a lift, but the lift driver didn’t understand how to operate it properly and the power chair was facing the incorrect way and was about to fall off. Nick made sure to help them in a a professional way to make sure everyone was safe. It shows he really cares about what he does and about who he’s doing this service for, but also about other people like me. I hope that IN Care Trans is able to help Best Buddies out again for this event next year and I hope to see Nick again!

Miss K brought my cousin, whom I care for, home from Noble East yesterday. Miss K is an extraordinary person. My cousin is very resistant to riding with strangers and can become extremely disruptive in these situations. Miss K went over and beyond. She accompanied him to the door to make sure he got into the house. She told me how she talked to him and prayed through the ride to calm him. My cousin was raised in a Godly home and is able to sense when he is safe. When he got home he was more calm than I would have expected him to be. She is so helpful to me, such a sweet person, and cares about her clients needs. She is a very safe driver, keeps her eyes on the road, mirrors, and drives with both hands. Makes sure your safety belt is bucked & and devices are secured. She's a good employee, people person, and enjoys her job. Had to find that out on my own own. Sadly, the driver told us opposite, that they would be back in an hour and never showed up, the doctor office share that statement with me.
This happened at a different delivery time and place.
Dad seems to be currently happy with the service, this is why I gave a the service a descent score.

Ronnie was my driver on February 23,2022. I needed to be be picked up at my garage due to riding in a wheelchair. Ronnie was very gracious in following my instructions in the process of accessing my garage. After opening my garage and parking the van behind the garage ,he was very helpful by taking some packages to the van before he helped me out of my house. He pushed me down the ramp in my wheelchair and then pushed me into the back of the van. After all of the seatbelts were secured around me and my wheelchair, we were on our way. Ronnie was a very good driver and even apologized for the pot holes on 10th Street.When we arrived to our destination,he made sure I made it safely into the facility and was being taken care of by the people at the desk. Ronnie was my driver who picked me up to take me home and he showed me the same kind respectful attentiveness as he did on the trip to the facility.
